Terms of service
Last updated: 14 April 2026
1. About the service
Keep Digital Human ("KDH", "the service") is a creator provenance tool that allows you to cryptographically register content you have created. It is operated by Manicgrin Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 8127947).
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use KDH.
2. What the service does
KDH generates a SHA-256 cryptographic fingerprint of content you submit and records the timestamp at which that fingerprint was registered. This creates a verifiable record that a specific piece of content existed at a specific point in time.
Registration proves temporal priority, not authorship. KDH does not and cannot verify that you are the original creator of the content you register. A registration certificate proves that someone registered a particular fingerprint at a particular time — nothing more.
3. What the service does not do
KDH does not:
- Store your original content — only its cryptographic hash
- Guarantee that registration constitutes legal proof of authorship or copyright
- Provide legal advice or act as a substitute for copyright registration where such systems exist
- Guarantee the accuracy of AI content detection results, which are provided on a best-effort basis
4. Your responsibilities
When using KDH, you agree that:
- You will only register content that you have created or have the legal right to register
- You will not use the service to make false claims of authorship over content created by others
- You are responsible for keeping a safe copy of your original content — we cannot recover it from a hash
- You will not abuse the API, attempt to disrupt the service, or circumvent rate limits
- You will keep your account credentials and API keys secure
5. Content disputes
If you believe someone has registered content that infringes your rights, please contact us. We take disputes seriously and will investigate reports of misuse.
We reserve the right to remove or flag any registration where we have reasonable grounds to believe the registrant is not the rightful creator, or where the registration is otherwise abusive.
6. AI content monitoring
KDH offers optional AI content monitoring that probes third-party AI systems to detect potential use of your registered content. This feature:
- Provides results on a best-effort basis and should not be treated as definitive legal evidence
- Uses similarity scoring which may produce false positives or false negatives
- Is subject to the availability and behaviour of third-party AI APIs
7. API and browser extension
Access to the KDH API is subject to rate limits and fair use. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are used in a manner that degrades the service for other users.
The browser extension is provided as-is and its functionality depends on browser compatibility and third-party website structures which may change.
8. Beta disclaimer
KDH is currently in beta. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
While we intend to maintain registration records indefinitely, we cannot guarantee the permanence, availability, or uninterrupted operation of the service during the beta period or thereafter.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manicgrin Media Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or failure to prove authorship.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
